Location

The Grand Hotel Beverly Hills is one of Rome’s hotels close to the Villa Borghese and Via Veneto, located in a strategic place that guarantees easy access to the city’s historic centre and its monuments and splendid squares.

Villa Borghese is Rome’s city park. 80 hectares with long paved roads and green areas that surround the villa, which houses the Gallery of the Borghesefamily, a priceless collection including works by Canova, Bernini and Caravaggio. Also important, at the National Gallery of Modern Art (GNAM) you can admire the genius of national and international artists.

The Bioparco is a short distance away. It is a modern urban zoo where rhinoceros, gazelles and lions have found a system that fully respects their dignity.
To the South is the Cinema dei Piccoli: a historic movie theatre dedicated to children and young people, which today has developed into a modern multiplex.

In neighbouring areas, the Arco di Porta Pinciana will lead you to the Via Veneto, an elegant street full of cafes, exclusive stores and modern inns; Federico Fellini immortalised it in his cinematic masterpiece, "La Dolce Vita"; this street then reaches the Piazza Barberini and, in less than 15 minutes, the renowned Fontana di Trevi.

The Piazza di Spagna is one of Rome’s more suggestive places, with the flowery staircase of Trinità dei Monti and Bernini’s famous fountain; it is located near the Via dei Condotti, the kingdom of city shopping, where you will find boutiques with the most renowned Italian and international fashion firms and the old Caffè Greco.

On the slopes of Monte Pincio, the Via Margutta is known by its numerous antique shops. A street that was at one time inhabited by sculptors, playwrights and poets, but above all painters from every current and style. Each year, the show at the "Cento Pittori on Via Margutta" constitutes an essential appointment for art aficionados, turning the Via Margutta into a remarkable art gallery beneath the sky.

No square in Rome can compete with the setting of the Piazza Navona. The oval containing three fountains, it is ornate with baroque profiles from the Chiesa di Sant’Agnese in Agone and the imposing Palazzo Pamphili. In neighbouring areas you can distinguish the dome of Sant’Andrea della Valle and the Palazzo Madama, seat of the Senate of the Republic.
